Create a quiz (manual or AI)
Create a quiz on Tiquiz
Go to Create a quiz in the sidebar. You have 3 options:
Option 1: Manual
- Give your quiz a title and introduction
- Add questions with answer options
- Configure results (title, description, insight, projection, CTA)
- Map each option to a result
- Set up capture fields (email, first name, last name, phone, country)
Option 2: AI Generation
- Choose an objective from 16 strategic objectives
- Describe your target audience and desired tone
- Pick the format (short: 3-5 questions, long: 6-10)
- Choose the quiz type: by profile (who are you?) or scored (where are you at?). This is the one hard decision: if you hesitate, read "Profile or score: which one?" first
- Click Generate - AI creates everything in real time!
Option 3: Import from a file
- Already have a quiz drafted elsewhere? Import it as .txt, .docx or .pdf (up to 10 MB and 50,000 characters of text).
- AI auto-structures it into questions, options and results.
- Tip: structure your document with clear sections (numbered questions, A/B/C/D options, named results) so the AI respects your structure.
You can always edit the generated or imported quiz before publishing.
Publish your quiz to see it online
A freshly created quiz is disabled: it is NOT reachable online yet. If you open its public link before activating it, you get a 404 page (this is expected, nobody can answer it while it is disabled).
To make it live:
- Open your quiz in the editor.
- At the top of the page, switch the toggle to Active. The same toggle takes it offline whenever you want.
- Your public link becomes reachable:
https://quiz.tipote.com/q/your-slug(orhttps://your-domain/your-slugif you connected your own domain).
No API or per-quiz setup needed. You can create as many quizzes as you want on the same domain, each with its own slug. Just activate each quiz to make it reachable. A disabled quiz always returns a 404, even if the slug is correct: go back to the editor and switch the toggle to Active.
Dynamic personalization (first name & gender)
Enable "Ask for first name" and/or "Ask for gender" in the sidebar to display an optional screen before the first question. Visitors pick their gender (He / She / They) → your questions, results and CTAs adapt automatically.
How it works:
- Click the ✨ button next to any field → AI generates 3 variants (masculine, feminine, inclusive) stored as
{ready|ready|ready}. - You can edit each variant by hand after generation.
- The
{name}placeholder inserts the visitor's first name into your copy. - If you enable "gender" after generating the quiz, a "Genderize entire quiz" button sweeps every field at once.
Non-gendered languages (English, etc.): AI returns the same text 3× → the public render stays identical, no grammar mistakes.
